I've really been into the Joker lately.  One can go a little crazy drawing him and trying to get in that mindset.  It's fun!

A Mini Comic

This is a mini comic I did one with my Junior Varsity character.  It's titled after the unfortunate Spider-Man reboot so I guess that kind of dates the comic but oh well, it was a good time.

I really dig the way he draws women, they're cute and fun and his composition is engaging.  Plus, unlike a lot of people who can draw women, they're always tastefully and modestly drawn!

New Superman

As I'm sure everyone's heard DC is revamping all of it's entire Universe, updating origin stories for almost all it's characters and trying to make the whole DCU cooler for younger audiences. This also means updated costumes! Which can be good or bad. In this case mostly bad. I checked out the new takes on Superman and they're kind of lame. So I drew one just for the fun of it. This is the exact same image twice I just couldn't decide which colour to make the S.

I'm studying the Prophets right now and as interesting as they can be they can also be equally as depressing. I mean come on, a 52 chapter book all with nothing but predictions of disaster for Judah? Heavy stuff. So I drew an angry prophet, as I imagine they must have been occasionally.

These little 3" square scraps of cardstock are saving my life! I've gotten to post tons more drawings than usual, and all because I can doodle while at work. Much easier to draw small than on a regular sketch pad.



So this is the Alex Ross redesigned spidey suit that he did for the original Spider-Man movie, I believe. Pretty cool if you ask me.

Apparently girls love Pride and Prejudice. My girlfriend is a girl and she loves it. And I have to admit, Mr. Darcy is pretty cool with his dark and brooding. So I drew these for my girlfriend, I like drawing for her and I don't do it enough. So here's a start.

This is a dumb character I made for that DCU game at the behest of a friend. His name is Skullclops and he has fire powers. Cyclops? Skull? Fire powers? None of these things really go together. Dumb character.

A double dose of Boba Fett today. I've been into drawing him lately, don't know why. I did just watch Empire lately, always a classic and I forget how good it is. And that just makes me sad that the prequels suck.
