I had some free time Saturday night because I didn't feel like doing homework, so I sketched a picture of my girlfriend. I'm not sure if that's creepy or not, I tend to think not but one never knows!

I'm in seminary these days which gives me a lot of time sitting at a desk and taking notes. I feel like, as I'm in grad school, I should act a little more grown up but darn it if I just can't stop myself from drawing in class still! I've been doing it all my life, don't think I can stop now. So here's some Daredevil I drew the other day.

I don't post nearly enough anymore. I try for like three or four posts a month but I've fallen short. Well, I'm working on making a sketch book for this October's FallCon here in Minneapolis. This is one of those sketches. I think I posted this a long, long time ago but it was scanned low res and was therefore very small. So here she is again, the Autumn Girl. Or Julia Bell as her name is. I made her into a comic book character.

Almost done with the 3rd installment of my own Junior Varsity comic. It's been a busy year and apparently has taken me forever to finish this comic. Anyway, these are sketches of the big bad guy at the end of the first story arc. Nothing says bad guy like a big nazi robot!

I've had an idea for a new comic. well basically it's going to be a study in inking, colour and landscapes but I figured I'd make a comic out it because why not. Here's some concept artwork to get the style and look down.

Many of you might remember that during the epic Marvel Civil War Spider-Man was with the Avengers and wearing a red and gold costume that Tony Stark made for him. Wait, what? you don't remember that? I must be a geek. Anyway, here's the costume sans colour.

This is a sketch I did while toying around with a new costume design for the JV. Something that would reflect him becoming a better trained superhero. It borrows on elements of his trainer and mentor, the Shadow-Man!

Another colour post! My band has changed it's name and sort of it's sound. Also the new name suggests certain colour palettes, which I like. Here's an initial draft of website/band logo something.

This cat is a character from the comic I write and draw and never seem to get around to anymore. His name is Jackson Valiant. the Junior Varsity. He's a superhero. Or is trying to be.

Time for some colour! I was trying to channel some early 60's Saul Bass on this one. Plus orange and white look good together.
